At Open Guard BJJ, we work to inspire our students to enjoy training by de-emphasizing the fighter mentality and focusing on the Gentle Art (Jiu Jitsu is a Japanese phrase that is commonly translated as "the gentle art").  Your confidence and your ability to defend yourself will automatically improve as you continue to practice BJJ.
