After three years of consistent training, Zion moved to Raleigh to elevate his skills in Muay Thai under Coach Don Rodger at Apex Martial Arts, one of the top gyms for Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes in Raleigh.

Since joining Apex Martial Arts, Zion has become a decorated competitor, earning multiple prestigious titles including the IKF Welterweight Tournament Title, IKF North Carolina State Welterweight Title, and IKF East Coast Welterweight Title.  His competitive background includes full-contact Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai, making him a versatile striker with real fight experience.

Before martial arts, Zion was a standout basketball player.  He helped lead the Sandhills Community College Flyers to the NJCAA DIII Men’s Basketball National Championship in 2020 and later graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.

Today, Zion is a passionate Kickboxing and Muay Thai coach who shares his experience with the next generation of students.  He has coached youth basketball, taught boxing, and leads group Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes at Apex Martial Arts.
