Dave Rosenmarkle

Professor Dave Rosenmarkle, a Gracie Barra 3rd degree black belt, lives by his life motto, “Non Nobis Solum,” Latin for “Not for ourselves alone.”  Through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), he strives to inspire and help others reach their full potential, both on and off the mats.

Drawing from his diverse life experiences as a collegiate athlete, Iraq war veteran, entrepreneur, and BJJ competitor, Professor Dave builds personal connections with his students to help facilitate positive change in their lives.  His dedication to this mission led him to establish the Veneration Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Affiliation, Veneration BJJ (Kenosha), and the Milwaukee Veterans Jiu-Jitsu Support Group. His most recent endeavor is bringing his affiliation to Open Guard BJJ in North Carolina.

In addition to his impressive martial arts credentials, Professor Dave is an accomplished IBJJF competitor, regional champion and medalist, NAGA champion, and Submissao Champion (Europe). He has also coached multiple champions at the IBJJF and SBJJF levels.

Through his leadership and dedication, Professor Dave continues to inspire, teach, and shape the lives of countless students, veterans, and competitors across his affiliations.
